Autodesk WHIP! is a legacy browser plug-in and ActiveX control that enables viewing and printing of DWF (Drawing Web Format) files directly in a web browser. Created to make AutoCAD drawings easy to share online, it offered fast pan and zoom, layer toggling, hyperlink support within drawings, and accurate print-to-scale output—without requiring AutoCAD on the viewer’s machine. Popular in the late 1990s for use with Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer on Windows, WHIP! helped pioneer web-based CAD review workflows. It was later succeeded by Autodesk DWF Viewer and Autodesk Design Review.
Autodesk WHIP! is developed by Autodesk. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0 and 4.0. The name of the program executable file is DesignReview.exe.
